My City Burning and I Scream Records reveal artwork from the new album "Lone Wolves" and premiere the track "Rise Up" on their myspace pages.
"Lone Wolves", the long-awaited follow up to their debut EP, was produced by Kristian 'Kohle' Kohlemannslehner, known for his work with bands like A Traitor Like Judas, Crematory and Final Prayer to name of few. The 27-minute rollercoaster ride is filled with grooves that will make your head bang, thrash metal riffs that will make your face melt, and vocals that make you want to crack some skulls.

The entire European Skarhead tour is now cancelled.

Here's the official statement:
Last week Skarhead announced that they were forced to cancel the first couple of shows of the upcoming European Summer tour.
Now opposed to the "statement" sent out by the booking agency, which is not an official statement by the band, Skarhead would like to clarify a few things.
This tour wasn't cancelled "due to a couple of cancelations", nor to "logistical problems". The only show that got cancelled was set for July 18th in Paris, France (also being the last show of the tour).
It actually seems that someone "forgot" that, in order for a US band to play Europe, the band members need to get on a plane.

In any case we can tell you that the band, in collaboration with their management & label, did everything in their power to try and salvage this great European run. After a very successful run earlier this year in March, the entire band was extremely excited to go back to Europe, play shows and see all of you amazing European fans again.

The entire band has been on stand-by for more than a week in New York City for nothing, wasting time and risking losing jobs, so we fully understand your frustration and therefor want to apologize to all the Skarhead fans who were looking forward seeing us. There's probably no need to explain how sad and upset we are about this tour being cancelled, especially at such a last minute notice...

Skarhead is currently working on a Fall tour and we'll make sure to post these dates as soon as possible.

Official statement from Blood For Blood about the upcoming tour

First off, we would like to thank all our fans for hanging in there over the last six long years. As of December 2010 Blood for Blood will embark on our first tour since 2004. Blood for Blood has agreed to join the Persistence Tour in Europe sharing a stage with long time friends Sick of it All as well as other acts soon to be announced.
The decision to play again was not an easy one to make. Over the last few years we have tried time and time again to contact Rob about a possible Blood for Blood reunion, but he has ignored every single attempt we have made. Therefore, we were left with no other choice but to find someone else to fill in for his BFB responsibilities. Now, let’s make this perfectly clear: we have no ill will towards Rob whatsoever. We wish him well and Blood for Blood will always be open to him.
That being said, we were left with the conundrum of finding a fill-in for Rob. After some careful thought we believe we found a perfect fill-in. We are pleased to announce that Billy Graziadei of Biohazard will be joining Blood for Blood on stage for Persistence Tour 2010.
Again thanks for all the countless emails and support letters from all our fans over the years. We are looking forward to seeing all your ugly faces again.

Skarhead forced to cancel first couple of shows of the European Tour.

Due to unforeseen circumstances and matters beyond the band's control, we are all very sad to announce that the first couple of shows of the European Skarhead tour, which was supposed to start tomorrow June 18th 2010, are now officially cancelled.
Needless to say the band is extremely disappointed and want to apologize to all the fans who were looking forward seeing Skarhead.
Everybody is currently doing everything in their power to get the band to Europe as soon as possible.
We'll hopefully have a kick off day before the end of this week, and will get back to you asap with more news.

Founded in the Summer of 2006, MCB’s drive has garnered the band a solid following and amazing live-reputation. Their 2008 self-produced and self-released demo EP “White Lies, Black Eyes” definitely threw My City Burning's name out there. This debut EP was extremely well received in magazines and e-zines everywhere. The Dutch magazine OOR said "It growls, bites and hurts in all the right places" while Asice.net said "Old school hardcore and thrash metal sound like two very different styles of heavy music, but this Dutch band incorporates them into one solid sound." and musicfrom.nl wrapped it up with "A debut with an impact I don't encounter very often"

We're excited to welcome Misconduct to our ever growing roster.
Their new record "One Step Closer" will be released this spring right before they'll be kicking off their European tour.
Hailing out of Kristinehamn, Sweden the band has managed to develop their own unique sound by blending punk & hardcore into a melodic mix.
Over the past years Misconduct have toured all over the globe, including a few tours in North America & Canada, and managed to built a strong and loyal fan-base.

The Skarhead video got age restricted by Youtube

Yesterday, January 13th, the new Skarhead video got flagged by the YouTube community. It seems that the "booties" are to explicit for anyone younger then 18 years old.
So in order to view the video you now need to sign in and tell them you're 18 and over (and if you're not just say you are).
You can also view the video without any age verification anywhere someone used the HTML codes and embedded the video on their page(s).
Looking at what else is available on Youtube for anyone to see we find this decision very disapointing. Sadly enough Youtube LLC & the Google corporation don't have any costumer support and therefor independent companies or independent artists can't even fight such restrictions.

The new Skarhead record was released in Europe today (Friday November 27th in Germany).
Like D.X. Ferris sums it up for clevescene.com "Skarhead’s Drugs Music Sex is some of the illest shit to fight its way out of N.Y.C. since S.O.D. and The Warriors movie."
In the meantime the band premiered "Bomb The System", featuring CIV, on their myspace player and the first European dates have been added to our tour section.

This summer Backfire announced that after 15 years the era would end. To celebrate the amazing career Backfire has and as a last goodbye to their fans they performed 2 final shows this past weekend in Europe. Reno Divorce are back in Europe at the end of November for a 3 week tour with the US Bombs.

For reasons unknown, iTunes has managed to drop the ball on the premier of the Skarhead video "D.F.F." this passed Tuesday, September 29th.
To make matters even worse, they haven't been able to resolved their problems since, leaving us no other choice then to take matters into our own hands.
So to end this very turbulent week on a high, we've decided not to wait any longer and proudly give you "D.F.F.", the first revealed track from Skarhead's new album "Drugs, Music & Sex".
This kickass video, directed & produced by Don Capria, can be viewed on our website, myspace page and YouTube channel. The song can be streamed from our myspace player.
Of course, as soon as iTunes figures out their problems you'll be able to buy the HD version at your local iTunes store.

I Scream Records signs worldwide deal with Incite

We are very excited to welcome Incite to the I Scream Records family.
Incite from Phoenix, AZ, was founded by Richie Cavalera in 2004 and have put a lot of hard work in the past 5 years. By extensive touring in both North America and Europe Incite has begun building a solid fanbase and are on their way to become part of a new generation of inovators in the metal scene.
They're self released EP, "Divided We Fall", sold out in only a few months and the track "Army Of Darkness" even ended up in the Sirius Metal Charts.
"The Slaughter", the bands full length debut, was produced by Logan Mader (Devildriver, Divine Heresy, Cavalera Conspiracy) and is set for release in North America on October 20th and will hit stores on November 2nd in Europe.
Incite is set for a full North American tour in the fall of 2009 before heading back out to Europe in early 2010.

I Scream Records signed a deal with Serjical Strike Records, Death By Stereo's new label, for the release of "Death Is My Only Friend", in Europe.
Laurens Kusters says: "We're extremely excited to have Death By Stereo join our, ever growing, European roster."
Since their inception in 1998, Death By Stereo has been balancing consciousness and chaos with their unique genre-bending amalgam of hardcore, metal and punk.
"Death Is My Only Friend", The band's 5th studio album, was produced & recorded by Jason Freese (Green Day, Jewel, Goo Goo Dolls) and mixed by Jay Baumgardener (Linkin Park, Evanesance). A statement from our good friends Backfire!
BACKFIRE! 1994 – 2009: The story ends.
After 15 awesome years of making music, writing songs, touring, hard work, dedication en most of all tons of fun and laughs Backfire! is closing the book.
We are grateful that we had the chance to play and tour as much as we did and we will always remember what we've got back from all of you people worldwide for so many years.
It was one of the hardest decisions in our lives but we think it's time to take different directions and keep the memories of this band alive as they are now, that is the best we could have asked for, there's no other way.
Thinking of the friends we've made during the years makes us feel proud and blessed, the friends we've lost are still with us in our minds and memories.
Thank you all so much for letting us do what we did, helping us and believing in us.

I Scream Records welcomes The Last Resort

The Last Resort joins I Scream Records for the release of their long overdue and highly anticipated new studio album "You'll Never Take Us".
Formed in 1980 in South London, The Last Resort are, together with Cockney Rejects, The 4 Skins and The Business considered one of the leading Oi! bands and an absolute legacy.

Oi! kingpin Gary Bushell wrote: "The Last Resort are a skinhead band from South London via Herne Bay, Kent. Based around the Last Resort shop in Petticoat Lane, East London and financed by the shop’s owner Michael French. They too saw Oi! as being bigger than just for skins".

"You'll Never Take Us" is set for release on May 8th 2009 in Europe and on June 23rd in the USA. The Last Resort will perform at all relevant European festivals after which they'll head out to the US again. The current line-up consists of Jonesy on drums, former Anti-Nowhere League members JJ Kaos on bass and Beef on guitar of course alongside of Roi.

I Scream Records schedules an Anthology release from Discipline

Discipline, the undefeated kings of European Street Rock!!

In 1999 Discipline and I Scream Records joined forces to start a collaboration that would propel Discipline into becoming one of the biggest European Street Rock bands of the last decade, even outselling some of their own musical heroes. Since, the bands has released 4 studio albums, numerous EP's, a live split with Agnostic Front, the 2008 cover album "Old Pride, New Glory" and a first compilation of tracks released, in 2003, in collaboration with Captain Oi! Records.

Today 10 years after the first release for I Scream Records we're are very proud to announce the release of the Discipline Anthology album. A double CD, with 28 of some of Discipline's best tracks released, for the US market only. A musical recap from the undefeated kings of European street-rock for the price of 1 CD.

This summer they're finally also back on tour in the USA, playing the BnB Bowl (formerly known as the Superbowl Of Hardcore) on May 30th in Brooklyn, NY after which they'll embark on an East Coast Tour with Stigma and special guests.

Skarhead and I Scream Records ink worldwide deal

We are very excited to announce the signing of Skarhead for the release of their long awaited new record "Drugs, Music and Sex".

Skarhead was founded in 1995 by Lord Ezec and released the EP "Drugs, Money, Sex" that same year.
In 1999 their follow up album, "Kings At Crime" took the worldwide hardcore scene by storm and instantaneously became one of the all time classic hardcore records.

Today 10 years after the release of "Kings At Crime" Lord Ezec is back as frontman of the worlds most infamous hardcore bands.
"Drugs, Music and Sex" is recorded and mixed by Dean Baltulonis (Sick Of It All, Madball, Agnostic Front) and produced by Lord Ezec. The album features guest appearances by some of hardcore's greatest such as Freddy Cricien, CIV, Jorge Rosado, Jamey Jasta, Armand & Craig from Sick Of It All, Vinnie Stigma and more.

The album is currently being mixed and set for release late Summer 2009.

Hoods sign worldwide deal with I Scream Records

I Scream Records is very proud to welcome Hoods to the family.
Hoods founded in Sacramento, CA, in 1995 by Mike Hoods have grown into a Hardcore institution. Their music is a call to arms for all of those who have grown tired watching Hardcore be exploited and bastardized. Mike Hood has used his years of experience to craft one of the most brutal and honest West Coast Hardcore bands ever.
Hoods have released several albums on a number of independents and now the long-awaited new album "Pit Beast" is set for release in May 2009.

“14 years and we’re still here. Still playing Hardcore, still having fun and bringing the mosh. I had no idea when I started Hoods if we would even last a year. Pilgrimz are the Danish revelation of the international metal scene. In June 2008 I Scream Records released their debut album “Boar Riders”, produced and mixed by Jacob Hansen (Volbeat, Mercenary) and Tue Madsen (The Haunted, Sick Of It All) and has received nothing but raving reviews.
